No terms of service can predict every situation which may arise that could pose a potential threat to site security, security of member accounts, or the smooth operation of the site, systems and forums. Multiple Accounts

One Player

Players are permitted one account. If we find evidence that you have more than one account, whether it be on the same IP or not, your user name and all IP addresses may be banned from our network. A ban on one game equals a ban on all games. Creating additional accounts in an attempt to circumvent a freeze or ban may result in your account(s) and IP address(es) being banned from our networks. If you have questions about a freeze or ban of your account(s), please visit our Support Center, register for an account and submit a Support Ticket. You should receive a reply within two business days.

DO NOT CREATE ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTS IN AN EFFORT TO CONTACT US.
Two Accounts on Same IP

A maximum of two separate players may play on the same IP or computer. An exception allowing more than two players on one IP may be made, but only if you contact us in advance of creating the additional account(s) by visiting our Support Center, registering for an account and submitting a Support Ticket. The use of proxies on our sites is prohibited. If one account on your IP address is banned, ALL accounts which have used that IP address will be banned. These bans will not be reversed.

Accounts on a shared IP address may not:

  • Transfer money, points, or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game between accounts on that IP
  • Belong to the same gang/fleet
  • Use the same email address
  • Use the market to buy/sell
  • points or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game between accounts on that IP

  • Use any other means not outlined here to effect a transfer or exchange of money, points or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game between accounts on that IP

Selling Accounts

You are permitted to sell your account if you so choose. However, you do so with the following understandings:

  • FinalMotive/Pixabit Inc. and our affiliates will not be held responsible if your attempts to sell/buy an account results in a monetary or other loss for you.
  • We will not assist in sales or respond to support questions related to account sales.
  • This is a buyer/seller beware situation, you assume all risks.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: You may not purchase items, cash, points or other game tangibles or intangibles from other players using PayPal. You may not buy an account solely for the inventory. If you buy an account, you are expected to move into that account and have your old account sold/given away/disabled by staff within 48 hours of purchase. Failure to abide by these conditions may result in a permanent ban of your account(s) and IP address(es) on all of our games.

If you have purchased a new account you must:

  • Notify a moderator (not an administrator) in game. Include a link to your old account, your new account, and a link to the account of the individual who will help you transfer your inventory.
  • WAIT for a response from the moderator giving you the go-ahead.
  • Notify the moderator upon completion of the transfer.
  • Change the email address of your new account to make it current.

The system allows you to have one account associated with an email address, so be sure you have another valid email address you can use.

Once you have moved to your new account, you have 48 hours to either sell/give away your old account, or to send a request to a moderator asking that the account be disabled. Once disabled, you will not be permitted to regain access to it, so we suggest having a recipient lined up before you move to your new account. You may not play the game using both accounts. You may not use both accounts to mug, attack, post on the forum, or to do the daily searches, slots or other cash/item earning/game play/site-related activities. If we find you have done so, both accounts may be banned without warning and you will forfeit the money you spent.

Cheating

  • If we find evidence that you are using the game software to duplicate money, points, or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game, you may be banned.
  • If we find evidence that you are using any sort of auto-refreshing program or macros anywhere on our site, you may be banned.
  • If we find evidence that you are scamming other players out of money, points, or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game, you may be banned.
  • If you encounter a bug or glitch in the system which allows you to benefit through an increase in stats, money, points or any other tangibles or intangibles in the game, you are expected to report it to the site staff immediately.
  • If we find evidence that you have been exploiting a bug or glitch in the software, you may be banned.
  • Abusing our system in any manner may result in your account and IP being banned without warning. We want our games to be fair and fun environments for everyone to play in.
  • If we discover you have found any means not specifically outlined here to cheat, scam or gain an unfair advantage over other players, you may be banned.
  • If you believe you have been cheated or scammed by another player, contact a moderator (not an administrator) and outline what transpired. Provide any logs and report any emails which back up your claim. Do not post accusations on the forum, the newspaper, via the message system or anywhere else on our site. Let a staff member deal with the offending member.

Spam

Using our site, software, message system, newspaper or forum to advertise any products, websites or online games is prohibited. You may use your forum signature to promote a personal, non-commercial website.

Item, Point, Cash, and Account Trading

You may not use our site, software, message system, newspaper or forum to enact trades of game items, points, cash or accounts between FinalMotive games and games not owned by FinalMotive. Games within the FinalMotive network can be found in the drop-down menu at the top right of your screen. If the game you wish to trade for is not listed there, you may not use our system to effect those trades. If we discover you have done so, you may be banned.
General Player Conduct

The following behaviors may result in a warning, your account being frozen and/or an account and IP ban. Other behaviors not listed here may result in the same penalties if the staff determines that those behaviors interfere with the site operation or normal game play for staff or other members.

  • The use of profanity (except on “R” -rated games), sexual or racial slurs, obscene, harassing or otherwise offensive language in private messages, on the forum, as your user name, as your ship/car name, in your quote, in your signature, or anywhere else on our network
  • Racial or sexual remarks, insults or epithets
  • Threats of physical, emotional or financial harm
  • Sexual harassment
  • Abuse of the message system
  • Using your profile, signature, the message system, newspaper, forum or any other site feature to “trick” other users into an action to your benefit by promising a reward which you do not deliver
  • Abuse of the gaming system’s ‘attack’ feature to harass and intimidate someone outside of normal game play.
  • Attempts to bribe site staff in any way, shape or form
  • Using the forum or message system to harass, intimidate or stalk other members and/or site staff
  • Sending or displaying pornographic, obscene or offensive images
  • Using the message or forum system to share methods of cheating, scamming and/or pirating of software, movies, or music
  • Posting copyrighted images or text without the author/creator’s permission
  • Attempting to ‘hack,’ disrupt or otherwise abuse the gaming system, messages and/or forum
  • Failing to comply immediately with instructions given by a member of staff. You may appeal those instructions after you have complied by visiting our Support Center, registering for an account and submitting a Support Ticket. The instructions will be reviewed by site administration. You will not receive a response from site administration unless the staff instructions are being overridden.

Staff Info

Do not message, email or contact a member of staff asking to be appointed to the staff. We do not accept applicants, we appoint those we encounter through game play, observing behavior on the forums, etc. who we believe will work hard to ensure a fun and safe playing environment for all. In other words, if you ask, you can count on not being selected for our staff.

If you encounter problems with a staff member, or have concerns about their behavior, please visit our Support Center, register for an account and submit a Support Ticket.

In addition, while we recognize that one element of the fun of game play is a gang/fleet’s efforts to “take over” a city or port, these activities may not include attacks on staff members for being in “your” city or port. This does not mean staff is immune from attacks, they are playing the game as well. However, in the course of their duties they may need to be in a city or port testing out features. Concentrated attacks against staff as a result of a gang/fleet’s desire to “own” the city or port may result in a freeze of the entire gang/fleet.

Privacy

We make every attempt to protect the privacy of our users. This includes not discussing the status of a user account with anyone but the account holder. Threads and inquiries which attempt to elicit such a response from the staff may be deleted. If staff feels that repeated threads and inquiries into the status of another’s account are causing a disruption to the overall community, users who persist in indicating that they desire staff to breach another’s privacy may be warned, frozen, or banned at staff’s discretion.

Upgrades

Upgrades are available in game with payments via PayPal. Making a purchase via PayPal indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  • No refunds
  • Buying a package does not exempt you from the Rules or our TOS. You are required to abide by our Rules and our TOS or face having your account frozen or banned.
  • If you initiate the dispute process via PayPal, your account(s) here will be banned.
  • If you file a report with the Better Business Bureau instead of giving us time to resolve the issue, your account(s) here will be banned.
  • If you do not get your package, please visit our Support Center, register for an account and submit a Support Ticket. Someone will respond within 2 business days.
  • Changes in features, site outages, changes in rules or dissatisfaction with the game does not entitle you to a refund. Purchase of these packages allow for game upgrades, fixes, new developments, server environments and other game related features. You are paying for the delivery of specific items or features only, as outlined in each package. We make no guarantees beyond the promise of initial delivery of the package/status. It is up to you to ensure that your own behavior does not jeopardize your ability to use your purchases.
