Jesse james workwear opinion

November 8, 2008 | 1,628 Views | 2 Comments

So, after a long and tedious search of the ever elusive jesse james workwear clothing line. I found them. I bought one of the heavy duty work shirts in order to see if it really did stand up to its claims of durability. Here’s my opinion of the shirt I purchased. This shirt felt so good in the store that I actually wore the damn thing home before washing it. All day. It was comfortable, it felt like a shirt should. I liked the way it looked and how it felt on me. Here was the one thing I was slightly concerned about. I have long arms, I usually wear a xl and it fits me well except sometimes in the arms.  The Jesse james shirt I tried on was exactly a perfect length. Until I washed it. I do not dry my button up shirts in a dryer, I let it hang dry. I washed it in warm water and it still shrunk. This saddened me quite a bit. I would have loved to have bought more of these clothes but I will not spend money on clothes that are going to shrink. As far as the durability goes, this shirt feels as strong and solid as the day I bought it. It has been wore 5-6 times at work and has been washed just as many. So, my suggestion is if you are thinking about buying this clothing line (at least the work shirts), is that you try them on and make sure you have a little extra room in the arms.

Comments:

  1. I bought some of the cloths and after washing them they still felt the same and didn’t shrink at all. even dried them in dryer. haven’t washed the t shirt yet but they are 100 percent cotton so figured they would shrink some and bought larger size.

  2. Thanks for the reply Shawn. I personally didn’t have a problem with my carpenter pants but the pair of jeans I bought haven’t fit right since.
