The message is The client version you are using is too old. Please upgrade at http://pidgin.im/. The only thing windows users need to do is download the liboscar.dll  — make sure Pidgin is closed — replace the new dll with the existing one C:\Program Files\Pidgin — then restart pidgin — you may need to re-enable account.
